Retrofit Information, Support and Expertise

Retrofit Information, Support and Expertise (RISE) is a free service funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). We provide training, guidance and support to help social housing providers and local authorities to plan and deliver retrofit programmes funded by the Warm Homes grant schemes. We also provide resources for suppliers, distributors and installers of retrofit measures under these schemes.

Supporting England’s housing providers and local authorities

Our expert-led team creates and delivers high quality training, events, resources and one-to-one mentoring. These are all about making it easier for organisations to develop retrofit plans that not only attract funding but also meet the needs of residents, create more comfortable homes and support decarbonisation commitments.

RISE offers support to those across the retrofit supply chain, enabling suppliers to better meet the needs of customers and the sector as a whole. We offer all this valuable support for as long as it is needed. We make sure it’s as relevant to those at the very start of their retrofit journey as it is to those with more experience but who are looking to expand and improve.
