In this Masterclass, we will explore evolving approaches to energy advice and retrofit ahead of the heating season. Retrofit is making homes more energy efficient, but without the change in how the residents are using the homes, the full benefits of the new energy efficiency won’t be realised. This masterclass will look how we support residents to change behaviours to maximise the energy efficiency of their homes. This can be through energy advice or working with partners who are experts in energy efficiency.

Comprehensive overview of resident engagement strategy for anyone working on a retrofit programme. Calling all Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and Combined Authorities to join us for a two-part CPD accredited online course. Our Resident Centred Retrofit course will equip you with the building blocks to create and deliver a successful resident engagement strategy, in order to support the outcomes of your retrofit projects. This event will feature presentations from experts, opportunities to ask questions and workshop with peers. The content will include: Session 1: Tuesday 3rd February 09:30 - 12:30 (Modules 1-3): Module 1: Why deliver resident-centred retrofit? Module 2: Customer journey mapping. Module 3: Developing an engagement approach: People Session 2 Thursday 5th February 09:30 - 12:30 (Modules 4-6): Module 4: Developing effective engagement: Tools and methods. Module 5: Identifying stakeholders and developing capacity. Module 6: Developing your strategy. Please note, participants will need to register for both sessions within this course to receive email reminders before each session.
