DESNZ launch Warm Homes grant recipient programme

Introduction

On Tuesday 3 June, DESNZ hosted a webinar – Delivering Warmer Homes Together - to launch the Warm Homes grant recipient programme.

We heard from the Minister for Energy Consumers, Dr Miatta Fahnbulleh MP, DESNZ policy and delivery teams, and industry experts. They shared best practices for retrofit delivery and opportunities for regional collaboration.

Reflections from RISE Programme Director, David Kemp

We spoke to David about some of the highlights from the event:

“In the room you could really feel the strong support for the Warm Homes programmes at the highest levels of government.

“It is clear that early delivery will be key and fundamental to scheme success and possible growth.

“To help achieve this, RISE is extending its support for grant recipients past mobilisation into delivery - the Interim Delivery Support.

“This not just about monitoring and reporting grant recipient progress, it is an extension of the service offered during bid windows and provides support to grant recipients to help overcome and address their particular delivery challenges.”

This extension of the RISE service is called the Interim Delivery Support, and launched on Monday 2 June. Warm Homes: Local Grant and Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund grant recipients will have a dedicated Delivery Support Manager.

If you are a grant recipient, and still need to reach out to your Delivery Support Manager, it’s essential that you do so now to secure your package of support. Email RISE at RISE@turntown.co.uk to be assigned a support manager.
