New to the RISE Knowledge Hub: Templates
So far, this includes:
Model Gantt: A useful tool for project managers or grant recipients. It introduces Gantt charts to any new users, outlining how they can help project planning and delivery, with tips on best practice. The template is a visual representation of the project timeline, outlining project stages, example actions, and a forecast.
Retrofit Planning Tool: A starter checklist to ensure you are prepared for delivery at the planning phase of your project. It should be used alongside, not replace, a comprehensive project plan that encompasses the delivery of each project phase.
Retrofit Resident Engagement Action Plan: Map out and plan your resident engagement approach for retrofit, with practical steps you can take to help put people first and reduce risks in your project delivery. There are core milestones and KPIs pre-populated to help guide your resident engagement, and you can update as appropriate to your resident engagement strategy.
Laura Cocker, RISE Content Creator, shares what to expect from future templates:
“We are developing new templates to include support across a range of project stages, this will include new templates supporting resident engagement and stakeholder mapping.
“The templates will guide housing providers - Warm Homes grant recipients and potential applicants - and the retrofit supply chain through key stages of their projects, helping to improve efficiency and the quality of project delivery and outcomes.”
These templates will help you to:
-
Save time: Instead of starting from scratch, you will have a ready made framework that speeds up the planning process.
-
Ensure completeness: Templates include essential sections and prompts that could be overlooked otherwise.
-
Be consistent: Using a standard format makes it easier to discuss your project with support managers, share information, and maintain quality.
-
Improve communication: A template’s presentation of the relevant data makes it easier to communicate progress and key information to relevant stakeholders
