Warm Homes: Local Grant now open - let RISE support your Expressions of Interest

Introduction

 

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) have announced that the Warm Homes: Local Grant expression of interest (EOI) window is now open, closing on 1 December. All eligible local authorities that complete and submit an EOI form by the deadline will be allocated funding to some degree, with DESNZ focusing their assessment on the amount of funding to be allocated.

    To help you complete your EOI form, RISE is hosting a series of events and support specifically focused on the Warm Homes: Local Grant.

     

    Warm Homes: Local Grant - EOI Policy webinar

     

    On Monday 21 October, 3pm-4:30pm, join us for a Warm Homes: Local Grant - EOI Policy webinar. We will be joined by Policy Leads from DESNZ, covering:

    Background and overview of WH:LG scheme

    Completing the EOI Form

    Mobilisation Period

    Delivery Assurance Check (DAC)

    Warm Homes: Local Grant Guidance - Drop-in

    On Wednesday 30 October, 3pm-4pm, bring your Warm Homes: Local Grant questions to this drop-in clinic. One of our experts will navigate your queries, opening and facilitating a space for discussion.

    Writing your Warm Homes: Local Grant EOI - Masterclass

    At this RISE Masterclass on Monday 11 November, 12pm-1pm, an expert from the RISE team will talk you through how to write a successful Warm Homes: Local Grant EOI form.

    Funding Request Bootcamps

    The Bootcamp covers everything you need to know to submit a successful Warm Homes: Local Grant Expression of Interest or Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund Outline Application. We will share the fundamentals of how to prepare your request, with guidance on:

    Alternatively, you can join a two-part Funding Request online course:

    Tuesday 22 October 9am-12pm and Wednesday 23 October 9am-12pm

    Tuesday 29 October 9am-12pm and Thursday 31 October 1:30 - 4:30pm

    Monday 4 November 1:30 - 4:30pm and Thursday 7 November 9:00am-12pm

    Monday 11 November, 9am-12pm and Wednesday 13 November, 9am-12pm

     

    RISE Technical Support 

    RISE works directly with local authorities to create support plans tailored for your needs. This is called RISE Technical Support.

     

    You first need to complete the self-assessment, so we can identify your needs. We then create a support plan outlining anything you need to develop.
