Meet the RISE team at Housing 2024

The RISE team is excited to be joining Housing 2024 at Manchester Central Convention Complex from the 25th to the 27th June. RISE will be there to share domestic retrofit programme advice and support. Visit our stand to meet our team, discuss your retrofit plans and understand the support RISE can offer you.

    You can use our calendar system to book a one-to-one meeting with one of the RISE team. At one of these meetings you can discuss your retrofit questions in-depth, and see how RISE can support you along your retrofit journey. 

    If you still need a ticket for Housing 2024, visitor passes are free for housing associations, local authorities, public sector, housebuilders, master developers, funders, architects, planners and BTR landlords, student accommodation, retirement living and extra-care providers.     Meet the RISE Housing 2024 team

    Kate Watson, Principal Consultant, Sustainable Communities & Industries at Turner & Townsend

    Kate Watson is a retrofit specialist in the domestic housing sector. Kate is Technical Support Lead for RISE, managing a team of specialist consultants providing support to housing associations and local authorities. She has over 20 years’ experience of delivering programmes and projects in the construction sector, fourteen within domestic retrofit at scale for local authorities and housing providers. 

     

    David Kemp, Director, Sustainable Communities and Industries at Turner & Townsend

    David has spent over 19 years delivering bespoke projects and programmes on behalf of clients, involving business support and consultancy relating to sustainability and procurement agendas, with a specific focus on zero carbon strategies, building retrofit (energy efficiency and renewable technologies) and innovation. David is the RISE Programme Director.

     

    Jordane Shaw, Principal Consultant, Sustainable Communities and Industries at Turner & Townsend

    Jordane is a housing policy professional with over 13 years of sector experience including senior stakeholder engagement, programme management, external affairs, policy and strategy and governance. Jordane leads on communications and engagement for RISE, including senior leadership engagement with C-Suite and Executives within housing associations and local authorities.

     

    Sarah McClelland, Associate Director, Sustainable Communities and Industries, Turner & Townsend 

    Sarah has over 18 years’ experience in housing and carbon reduction. Since joining Turner & Townsend in 2022, Sarah leads the communications, learning & development workstream of the RISE service with a focus on sharing best practice and upskilling local authorities and housing associations to enable them to deliver high quality retrofit programmes.

     

    Owen Daggett, Principal Consultant, Sustainable Communities and Industries at Turner & Townsend

    Owen joined Turner & Townsend as a Principal Consultant after working for registered social housing providers, where he led on the development and delivery of strategic approaches to energy and carbon reduction. Owen leads our supply chain workstream within RISE, focusing on engaging and building capacity within the supply chain. 

     

    Yasmine Younes, Senior Consultant, Sustainable Communities and Industries at Turner & Townsend 

    Yasmine is the Learning & Development lead for RISE, building on her experience within the housing sector, working with registered providers and local authorities alongside complex event management. 

     

    Emma Woods, Principal  Consultant, Sustainable Communities and Industries at Turner & Townsend

    Emma has experience in modelling, analysing and interrogating housing stock performance data, alongside the development of strategies to address demanding energy efficiency targets and retrofit investments to decarbonise housing stock. Emma currently works within the technical support team and leads RISE’s work on stakeholder mapping.
