Introduction
With increasing temperatures there is an associated risk of vulnerable residents becoming ill due to overheating. Retrofit of UK homes is mainly focused on reducing the heat losses and improving energy efficiency to make homes more comfortable and affordable in cold weather, but there is also a need to consider methods which will mitigate overheating. PAS 2035 requires users to understand the risk of overheating and take action to address that risk.
